About our client
Our client, a global and world-leading player in their field, has a strong belief in the long-term sustainability of HVDC technology (High Voltage Direct Current). This technology enables energy transport with direct current at high voltages, making it suitable for transmitting energy over long distances and connecting power grids with minimal losses. For offshore wind power or long-distance underwater transmissions, direct current is the most realistic option for energy transmission.
About the role & you
We are now looking for an HSE specialist (Health, Safety & Environment) for our client in Ludvika. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated HSE team and play a key role in leading and coordinating site-wide initiatives in health, safety, and environment. You will be an important partner to managers, safety representatives, suppliers, and authorities, and you will work both strategically and operationally to strengthen the company's safety and environmental efforts.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for sustainability and working environment and who thrives in an international and dynamic environment. You are a structured, solution-oriented, and communicative team player who can also take significant personal responsibility.
Main responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate HSE initiatives, networks, and common issues on site.
- Train, coach, and support the organization in HSE-related matters
- Communicate with authorities and ensure compliance with laws, environmental permits, and Seveso legislation
- Collect, analyze, and report HSE data and follow up on laws, standards, and trends
- Participate in audits, investigations, and drive continuous improvements in HSE processes
- Maintain and develop the HSE management system and act as a super user for HSE applications
We are looking for someone who has
- University degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or similar
- Several years of experience in HSE work, preferably from industrial operations
- Good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety and environmental legislation as well as ISO standards (14001, 45001, and 50001)
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience in project management, HSE data analysis, and HSE systems
It is also an advantage if you have experience in construction projects, Seveso legislation, waste management, contractor management, and/or electrical safety.

- Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months with the ambition to subsequently be directly employed by the client
