What does a service technician do?

As a service technician, you are responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure and developing the communication networks of the future. Your main tasks include identifying and solving customer issues, installing and configuring new equipment. You will work with a variety of technical equipment within the IP and LAN areas, such as routers and switches, as well as other types of customer facilities and connections.

Examples of tasks:

• Troubleshooting
• Performing installations at customer sites
• Configuring and measuring the new equipment
• Conducting functional tests
• Commissioning and ensuring that the connection works for the relevant equipment within the IP/LAN/Router technology area and other types of customer facilities/customer connections according to the customer's established instructions

On-call duty may be required in this position. Additionally, evening, night, and weekend work may occur.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• have completed high school education with a relevant focus
• have a good understanding of IP technology, networks, and mobile systems
• can read and interpret work documents
• can handle measuring instruments such as OTDR and similar and analyze results is highly meritorious
• are fluent in Swedish
• have a B driver's license for manual transmission
