About the Company

Micatrone is a family-owned company founded in 1964, developing, manufacturing, and selling measurement and control equipment within the business areas of Ventilation and Heating. The office is located in Solna, and the company employs about 10 core staff, along with several resellers and subcontractors. Micatrone has long been an established name in its niche and is now looking for someone who wants to grow into the future with the company.

As part of their forward development, we are now looking for a technical salesperson in ventilation and heating. We at Asta Agency are collaborating with Micatrone in this recruitment process. The process is conducted through Asta, and you will then be employed directly by Micatrone. 

About the Position

In this role, you will help the company's customers find optimal solutions using your technical knowledge as well as a good understanding of Micatrone's products. You will build long-term relationships with both existing and new customers and will also be an important part of the work on the development of new products and offerings.

Your responsibilities include answering incoming questions, providing technical support, preparing quotes, and planning deliveries. The role is versatile; you will be close to product development and contribute with customer perspectives, test products yourself to understand functionality, and also handle more practical tasks such as order management or logistics. An important part of the job is to capture customer needs and translate them into ideas for new or improved products. You will become a key person in Micatrone's work to develop and market products, both digitally and at industry fairs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and develop long-term customer relationships with distributors, installers, and end-users in Sweden and internationally.
  • Provide technical advice and support, answer questions, and handle quote requests.
  • Participate in product development work and be a link between customer needs and the company's development department.
  • Market products digitally and at industry fairs or customer visits.
  • Plan deliveries and contribute to order and logistics flows.
  • Test and evaluate products to understand function and areas of use.
  • Capture customer ideas and needs to contribute to new products and improvements.

Qualifications and Characteristics

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in designing and fine-tuning ventilation systems, OVK, heating/cooling, or similar relevant industry experience.
  • Has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English as it is required in daily work.
  • Has previous experience working closely with customers, for example, in sales or service.
  • Has completed a technical education at least at the high school level, preferably with post-secondary specialist training.
  • Has previous experience as a technical salesperson and has good knowledge of air treatment products. (Meritorious)
