Technical Sales Representative at KYOCERA UNIMERCO

KYOCERA UNIMERCO is in a growth phase and is now looking for a proactive, relationship-building, and business-oriented Technical Sales Representative responsible for Värmland, Närke, Västmanland, and Uppland. The position focuses on cutting machining (turning, milling, drilling, and threading, etc.) with customers in the metal industry.

You will be offered a permanent employment contract, and the start date can be adjusted to your current notice period. You will work from your home office, and we prefer that you live in the district.

About the Position

You will be offered a developing and independent position in a well-established company characterized by customer orientation, business acumen, development, and professionalism.

You will work on building long-term customer relationships with a highly competitive range of tools and tool solutions within cutting machining.

You will handle the entire sales process including customer prospecting, appointment booking, needs analysis, consulting, support, and contract negotiations. The company's inside sales representatives will support you with quotes, and optimization techniques will assist you as well. You will conduct product training, participate in trade shows, and other internal and external sales activities.

You will “inherit” a profitable customer base in the district. About 75% of customer engagement concerns existing customers and about 25% new customers.

The position reports to the Sales Manager for the metal division.

Who Are You?

You are likely currently working in technical sales as an outside/field salesperson or inside salesperson focused on cutting machining. You also have a general interest in technology and mechanics.

We view positively if you have some form of post-secondary education in technology or sales.

Previous sales experience is not a requirement for the position, as you may currently work or have worked as a CNC operator or in another relevant role within the metal industry.

You are a good listener, driven, engaged, and curious about customers' operations, requirements, and needs as well as problems.

You are proficient in the Office suite and likely have previous experience with CRM systems.
