Procurement Manager

The Procurement Unit is a newly established unit located in the Development Department, which also houses functions for communication, sustainability, IT, archives, business development, and quality. The Procurement Unit is responsible for the company's purchasing process, and the unit's tasks include conducting procurements, enabling efficient purchases, managing contracts, and assisting the organization with qualified advice on procurement, purchasing, and contracts. The unit also handles the authority's contract catalog and provides support during procurement reviews, etc.

About the role: In the role of Procurement Manager at Signalisten, you will work to ensure that Signalisten's needs for goods and services are met with the right quality, at the right cost, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Signalisten has developed the procurement process over several years, and there is also an ongoing need to implement and further develop the process. In addition to leading the operations, the assignment will include a relatively large component of operational work within the procurement and contract follow-up processes that fall under the unit.

The unit currently consists of three procurement officers and a contract controller. To succeed and thrive in the role, we believe you have experience in developing both employees and work methods, and that you enjoy leading in building and change.

As the head of the purchasing and procurement unit, you are responsible for operations, finances, and personnel within the unit. You report to the Development Manager and are part of Signalisten's extended management team, thereby gaining the opportunity to collaborate closely with other managers and develop your leadership skills.

We are looking for someone who has:

Post-secondary education in procurement, contract law

• Leadership training and at least two years of experience working as a manager or leader with personnel responsibility.
• Several years of current experience in practical work with public procurements and very good knowledge of and experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience working in the public sector

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience in leading and driving change and development work
• Experience working in a public housing company
