Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 750 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We provide heating for over 800,000 people in Stockholm, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the community benefits we create. We plan to build a carbon capture facility at our bioenergy plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period.

Do you want to be part of driving development in a fast-growing and environmentally focused organization? As an Operations Technician with us, you will have a unique opportunity to combine technology, operations, and port activities in a role that both challenges and develops you.

In the Energy Port in Värtan, we handle both solid and liquid fuels, and here you will be an important part of our team responsible for the operation and maintenance of our port facilities. Together with our dedicated operations technicians and operations engineers, you will ensure that the facility operates efficiently and safely while contributing to our long-term development.

You will work closely with our maintenance department in managing the port and the liquid fuel depot. In addition to daily tasks, you will also participate in operational improvement teams, where we develop new solutions and work towards common goals together. We believe in giving our employees the opportunity to grow – therefore, we hope that within 1-2 years, you will develop into the role of operations engineer for the port.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in technology with a focus on energy or other education combined with relevant experience for the role
• Experience in maintenance and operations
• Good communication skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English
• Driving license B
