About the Role of Service Technician

As an Operations and Service Technician at Chromafora AB, you will play a central role in the company's efforts to ensure the operation and maintenance of their process facilities. Your focus will primarily be on operations, technical maintenance, and troubleshooting of the facilities at customer sites.

You will:

• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving on technical equipment.
• Carry out maintenance efforts and follow up on the results of these.
• Document and report your work and suggest improvements.
• Work on simpler project planning.
• Work in the field with Chromafora's facilities, which involves short and longer trips.

The role of Operations and Service Technician suits you if you have a good ability to organize, plan, and execute your work in a structured manner. You have a strategic mindset that permeates all your decisions. You think long-term and have a good ability to see connections. If you have experience in technical maintenance, we consider it an advantage. The most important thing is not that you are fully trained but that you have engagement, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. You are someone who can gather and evaluate information and prioritize your actions based on that.

Required Qualifications

• Technical high school diploma or equivalent
• Swedish and English
• Driving license B

Meritorious

• Experience in similar roles as an operations technician within water, HVAC, maintenance technician, or within the process industry.
• Experience with control systems and process facilities is an advantage.

About Chromafora AB

Chromafora is a Swedish innovation company in cleantech that uses unique technology and methods to detoxify contaminated water from heavy metals and PFAS. The technology can also be used for the extraction of valuable metals, such as gold, for recycling. Chromafora was founded in 2010 by chemical researchers, and the focus is now on implementing and commercializing the chemical innovation. Today, the company has 25 employees in Sweden and is in an expansion phase. Chromafora's chemistry lab and office premises are located in Solna but will move to Västberga in Q1 2025.
