About the role

As an Operational Buyer, you will be a key person in the purchasing process for electronic and mechanical components in advanced industrial projects. You will play an important role in ensuring cost-effective and sustainable supplier choices in close collaboration with both internal and external parties.

Your main responsibilities:

• Gather project-specific information and develop RFx packages according to category strategy.

• Conduct due diligence processes including NDA, sanctions screening, and compliance checks.

• Represent the company in supplier meetings.

• Coordinate with teams in engineering, production, quality, and project management.

• Analyze supplier responses and conduct negotiations.

• Lead contract negotiations together with legal and category purchasing.

• Drive internal approvals in sourcing councils.

• Support the implementation of new contracts.

What we are looking for in you:

• 5+ years of experience in direct material purchasing within electronics, electromechanics, or mechanics.

• Master's degree in engineering, economics, law, or similar.

• Solid understanding of the entire sourcing process – from procurement to contract.

• Experience from manufacturing, industry, or automotive sector (battery industry is a plus!).

• Good knowledge of PLM systems, ERP systems, and Office suite.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Proactive and self-driven with strong communication skills.

• High professional integrity and experience with key supplier relationships.

• Scope: Full-time (100%), on-site in Stockholm

• Assignment period: September 1, 2025 – February 27, 2026
