How the babysitter job works

Working as a nanny is both fun and flexible; you choose which assignments you want and when you want to work. As a babysitter, you help one or more families in your area take care of their children. This can involve everything from picking up from preschool/school and having fun in the playground to having snacks or putting them to bed. The most important thing is that it is fun and safe for the children, the parents, and you!

During your interview, you will receive more information about this particular family, but here are some good things to know:

• Number of children: 2
• Age: 3 & 4 years
• Days of the week they want help: 1-5 times a week
• Times: Usually pickup from preschool and sometimes in the evenings and weekends (each shift is always at least 3 hours)

The part-time job is perfect for you if:

• Are responsible and playful with a genuine commitment to children
• Have experience caring for one or more children (0 - 6 years) independently
• Can work flexibly on weekdays and weekends as a nanny
