About the position

As Strategic SQA, you are the key person between purchasing, production, and our suppliers. You are responsible for ensuring that our suppliers and their deliveries meet quality requirements and work proactively to raise the quality level. Through collaboration with another SQA and the purchasing department, your technical understanding can help our suppliers reach new heights.

Your role includes:

• Driving quality work with suppliers, from assessments to audits and improvement actions.

• Planning and conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) at suppliers.

• Managing deviations and quality assurance issues and supporting production during disruptions.

• Conducting periodic reviews with suppliers, including KPI monitoring (ppm/complaints/delivery precision).

• Acting as a technical advisor to purchasing when reviewing specifications and requirements.

The position involves travel, both within Sweden and internationally, and you report to the purchasing manager as part of a dedicated team.

About you

Requirements

• Higher education in engineering, quality, or equivalent.

• Experience working with ISO 9001 and audits.

• Knowledge of materials, surface treatments, and machining.

• Experience working with LEAN and change management.

• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

The position requires Swedish citizenship, as well as undergoing security interviews and consenting to background checks.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

• Experience working with international suppliers and technical specifications.
