About the role as a car painter

In the role of car painter, you will have a varied everyday life where your main tasks are to prepare and paint passenger cars according to given industry standards. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and contribute to delivering cars in top condition to satisfied customers at a workplace that has received several awards for its good working environment.

Job responsibilities

• Prepare the surface for painting, including sanding, masking, and filling of body parts.
• Paint cars and car components according to quality requirements and work orders.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments in connection with painting work.
• Ensure that the work meets environmental, safety, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to a good working environment and collaboration in the team at the authorized workshop.

Requirements for the position

• Experience in car painting, paint preparation, or equivalent work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B Manual).
• You can work carefully according to instructions and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Desirable skills

• Education in car painting, automotive technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience from an authorized workshop, body or paint shop.
• Knowledge of modern painting systems and color matching.
