We are looking for a specialist in VViS stations for the Swedish Transport Administration, stationed in Östersund.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Swedish Transport Administration's Road Weather Information System (VViS) is an operation for measuring, collecting, and presenting weather and road conditions for maintenance and traffic management of roads. The Swedish Transport Administration is responsible for the establishment, operation, and management of VViS measurement stations. VViS consists of approximately 770 measurement stations, of which about 80 are located in Y and Z counties. There are also around 25 traffic signals, as well as various other ITS installations spread across Y and Z counties. The assignment includes assisting the project manager with specialist support regarding ongoing construction management and administrative assistance such as: planning, inspection, and inventory of facilities, preparation and control of digital drawings and documents.Job Responsibilities- Participate in and document relevant construction meetings and other meetings related to the assignment- Random inspections and field inventories- System support for GUS/Maximo - Control/verification in GUS/Maximo that the facility register is correct. (for the Client and Contractor) - Continuously monitor and evaluate the availability/status of the facilities ÖTS2, TUS2, UMS, and VVIS Presentation.- Control and verification of completed FU according to the signed agreement- Control of attendance times and response times and prepare documentation for any penalty fees- Conduct electrical inspections and revision inspections with accompanying documentation- Document and attribute causes of deficiencies and report completed actions- Order operation and maintenance measures from contracted contractors- Attend works that affect the functionality of the facility- Construction management in existing contracts for monitoring ordered activities- Minor design work in the assignment- Control of the contractor's work environment plan. Ongoing risk inventory for any additional parts in the Operation and maintenance contract- Client competence

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

- Technical university education with a focus on electrical engineering or equivalent competence/experience- At least 1 year of documented experience of VViS as client support- At least 1 year of documented experience of traffic signals and other ITS as client support- At least 3 years of documented experience as Site Manager or project management- Must have completed training for BAS-P and BAS-U.- Documented experience of public procurement- Documented experience of contract law AB, ABT- Documented experience in the Swedish Transport Administration's administrative systems, GUS/Maximo, and PP (Project Portal)- Very good knowledge both written and spoken in Swedish and English- Very good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
