Radiological Protection Engineer / Health Physicist for Barsebäck

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with ISOCS measurements and/or perform dose rate measurements using instruments such as activity detectors (AD) and scintillation detectors. You will also work with analysis and evaluation of radiation/contamination data.

You will plan and implement radiation protection measures during decommissioning projects and work with the clearance of materials and handling of radioactive waste. The role also includes working with risk assessments, incident management related to radiation events, and leading teams in the field. Documentation, reporting to regulatory authorities, and training staff in radiation protection are also part of the role.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience in radiation-related issues within nuclear activities. You likely have a relevant university degree in health physics, nuclear physics, nuclear chemistry, physics, or equivalent, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way.

Qualifications

  • Driver's license
  • Previous experience in radiation-related issues within nuclear activities
  • Worked in the field for at least 5 years
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
