About the position
Linnékåren is seeking an engaged Operations Manager to drive and coordinate our work across our two locations, Kalmar and Växjö. As Operations Manager, you play a key role in:
- Leading daily operations and serving as a link between the board and staff.
- Coordinating and developing Linnékåren's work together with the chairperson.
- Supporting the board in negotiations with external parties such as universities, municipalities, and businesses.
About Linnékåren
Linnékåren is an HBTQI-certified student union at Linné University representing approximately 40,000 students. Our main task is to review the university's operations and ensure that students receive a high-quality education and a positive student life. We are the voice of the students and collaborate with the university, municipalities, and businesses to improve students' everyday lives. Our areas include:
- Students' rights and educational quality.
- Social issues such as housing, health, and student organizations.
- Activities and events that strengthen community among students.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in project management and change work.
- Advocates for a leadership style where freedom under responsibility is essential.
- Has experience with difficult conversations.
- Is an operational Operations Manager who also masters supporting the strategic aspects of the organization.
- Is communicative and enjoys a role with many contact points, both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Relevant academic degree of at least 120/180 credits in HR or equivalent assessed as comparable.
- Experience in one of the following: working in a non-profit organization, politically governed organization, or higher education.
- Experience with personnel responsibility.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Practical information
- Position: Operations Manager, full-time.
- Location: The position is divided between both Kalmar & Växjö.
