We are looking for a flexible workshop mechanic with good welding skills to Geréns Mekaniska Verkstad in Sala. The job mainly involves repairs, modifications, and special solutions rather than assembly line work. If you enjoy variety, technical challenges, and solving problems with both your mind and hands, this is the right place for you!

You will primarily work with welding in wire and MAG in black materials, but stainless steel and aluminum may also be involved. The workdays are varied, ranging from sheet metal processing to repairs and special solutions, a job where technical knowledge and creativity are often needed to find the right solution.

• Cutting, bending, and rolling of sheet metal
• MIG/MAG welding of various materials
• Repairs and special jobs according to customer needs
• General workshop work as needed

Location: Sala

Scope: Full-time

Working Hours: Daytime 07.00-16.00

You are a self-driven, handy, and curious person with an eye for technology and solutions. Repairing, adapting, and modifying is more your thing! You enjoy practical work, are proactive, and thrive in a small, close-knit team.

• Experience in MIG/MAG welding
• Good reading of technical drawings
• Forklift license

• TIG welding
• Truck license
• Hot work certification
