Simonsgården, located in Björsbyn a little outside central Luleå, belongs to the Labor Market and Education Administration, which is responsible for labor market policy issues, integration issues, and education issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a team leader within TIA; Growth, Integration, and Work's practical activities, you will work to support individuals on their path to work or studies. The individuals are with us for work or language training. The assignment includes guiding, inspiring, and motivating young and adults to actively find their way to studies and work. We believe in the individual's will and ability to move on to self-sufficiency or education. A coaching approach is an important tool. We have close cooperation within the operation, department, administration, as well as with the Social Administration and the Employment Service.

Our operations are tools for the purpose, and the individual's skills enhancement occurs through time-limited interventions such as internships or subsidized employment. You will be part of the unit's management team together with other team leaders.

The placement is at Simonsgården where you will be one of three team leaders. Here we work to develop the individual using a nursery, nature, and outdoor activities as tools, and we have space for about 25 participants in the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has post-secondary education or other education combined with a few years of relevant work experience for the position
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English
• is an experienced user of digital tools
• has a valid B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience from working as a team leader or in another leading role in the workplace

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and skilled at planning, executing, and following up on your work. Since you will collaborate both within the operation and with external parties, a key to success is that you have good collaboration skills. You possess a genuine interest in working with and helping people develop, and your leadership should be characterized by clarity, responsiveness, the ability to motivate others, and to create a good working atmosphere. It is also important that you are solution-oriented and can find solutions to emerging problems. To thrive in this role, you need to be interested in practical outdoor work.
