Laholmshem is the collective name for the wholly-owned property group of Laholm Municipality, comprising two companies, Laholmshem AB and Kommunfastigheter i Laholm AB, with over 100 employees managing a total of 230,000 square meters, half of which consists of 1,550 apartments, while the rest are administrative buildings (primarily schools and preschools).

What distinguishes the property group is a clear focus on very high in-house expertise in project management, construction technology, outdoor environment, cleaning, operational technology, procurement, finance, HR, property maintenance, early phases, and customer service. The corporate group had a turnover of nearly 300 million in 2022. The company is currently located in two offices, but a decision has been made to consolidate operations into a single office.

About the Position

The position is part of the organization's Operations Department, consisting of property caretakers, gardeners, landscape workers, and cleaning staff.

The role involves being responsible, together with your colleagues in the outdoor group, for the external maintenance of our rental properties and municipal properties throughout the municipality. The daily work is planned by the group's team leader.

Examples of Tasks:

• Weeding
• Lawn mowing
• Planting
• Hedge trimming
• Pruning fruit trees
• Various maintenance and care according to the annual wheel and maintenance plan
• Cleaning and tidying in the outdoor environment
• Clearing gutters
• Participation in maintenance projects in the outdoor environment
• Snow removal and ice control

The position places high demands on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is an initiative-taking and responsible team player. You are also meticulous and punctual. As a person, you are structured and have a very good ability to create good relationships both internally and externally. You enjoy performing varied tasks and working outdoors regardless of the weather. The position requires good physical fitness as some tasks may be heavy.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

Requirements for the position include having basic and upper secondary education. You must have at least 2 years of experience in green space maintenance. A B driver's license and good experience driving with a trailer are required, as well as documented experience in outdoor environments and proficiency in Swedish both spoken and written.

Desirable education includes a 1-year education in gardening.

Desirable skills: Training and experience in the use of chainsaws, brush cutters, and aerial lifts. Experience in pruning fruit trees and hedges, BE driving license (heavy trailer), and experience in the maintenance of gardening machines.
