We are looking for a baker for a full-time position at Leijon Stenugnsbageri & Konditori.

Do you want to work at a bakery and pastry shop where both products and service constantly strive for top quality? At Leijon Stenugnsbageri & Konditori, carefully selected ingredients are processed into irresistible pastries that, through a welcoming and personal approach, provide customers with an experience and spread joy.

We are looking for someone who values craftsmanship and wants to work with pure ingredients and no semi-finished products. You are committed, positive, a team player as you will be part of a team, and you are passionate about baking.

You are a trained baker and/or pastry chef with at least 2 years of experience.

As a baker/pastry chef, you will work together with your colleagues in the daily production. To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Values and has a genuine interest in craftsmanship and pure ingredients – together with your colleagues, you will maintain the customer's trust by consistently delivering a high-quality product.
  • Has good teamwork skills – you should be constructive and communicative in relation to your colleagues.
  • Has a strong work ethic and is flexible – you should perform well during both quieter and busier periods in production and be attentive to opportunities to support your colleagues.
  • We place great emphasis on personality and work ethic and how you would fit in with the rest of our staff. You are driven and forward-thinking, but most importantly, you are cheerful and positive.

The Baker position:

Here you will work on typical tasks in a Craft Bakery such as baking off, shaping, dough handling, sweet breads, and rolled doughs. We work seasonally and constantly come up with new products. Working hours vary, starting from 03:00–07:00 in the morning and with scheduled weekend work.

*The baker position may involve greater production responsibility if you are the right person.

The position is full-time with entry as soon as possible, salary according to collective agreement. A probationary period may be applied.

In August 2017, Leijon Stenugnsbageri & Konditori opened in Sala backe, Uppsala. Today we have 2 units in Uppsala. The founder is Frida Leijon, winner of Pastry Chef of the Year 2016, Pastry Chefs' Pastry Chef 2018 and 2021. She also created Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's Wedding Cake in June 2015.
