We are currently looking for an educational babysitter for a family in Karlaplan, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare services to families with children with NPF.

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric disabilities and the most common disabilities are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Language Disorder. Our goal is to help as many as possible with special needs, which is why you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

Number of children and ages: 3 children, 2, 5, and 9 years old

Days and times: 2 afternoons/week from approximately 3:30 pm

Desired start date: February

Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Karlaplan, Stockholm

We are looking for someone who:

Has some experience with children, especially those with language disorders and autism

Has experience in language development

Has experience in clear pedagogy and low-stress approach

Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children

Wants a developing and rewarding side job

Is educational, calm, and reassuring

Can work flexibly both evenings and weekends

Speaks Swedish fluently

It is a plus if you have knowledge of picture support and TAKK

Common tasks may include:

Picking up from preschool/school

Planning activities inside and outside the home

Providing support during outings

Preparing simple meals

Bedtime routine

Engaging, socializing, and relieving stress
