Forest Consultant for Peatland Restoration at the Swedish Forest Agency

The Swedish Forest Agency has a mission to carry out rewetting of previously drained peatlands. In order to further develop the work on rewetting, we are looking for a forest consultant for permanent employment in the Kalmar district.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks as a rewetting planner include the entire chain from initially identifying potential rewetting areas through GIS analyses to ultimately monitoring the effects of ditch blocking in both hydrological and nature conservation parameters. The work is independent and varied with many different contact points.

Qualifications

You have a forestry degree or a degree in biology with good forestry knowledge. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is service-oriented, has good teamwork skills, and can work independently towards set goals.

Conditions

We offer permanent employment at 100% with entry by agreement. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period. A driver's license is required.
