Åkerblads is a Hotel & Inn located in the beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The hotel has been owned by the Åkerblad family since the 1400s, and today the 19th-22nd generation of Åkerblads work with a strong team to provide guests with an extraordinary experience.

We convey experiences to the guests, from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Siljan.

We strive to be unique with our product, which is why the hotel today has 73 unique and individually decorated rooms. The restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, catering to both conference guests and weekend guests.

The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality is one of the cornerstones. Our Spa department consists of 3 therapy rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy pool, and a spa suite with its own jacuzzi and sauna. Along with the newly added pool area with a pool, hydro massage pool, outdoor pool, we also have a well-equipped gym and exclusive changing rooms with a sauna.

Dry relaxation areas and a pool bar are also new features in our SPA.

Your responsibilities...

As a SPA Manager, you have a leading role and oversee the work in our spa department. In addition to performing treatments, you will also be responsible for ensuring that therapists are available for scheduled treatments, and that treatment rooms are clean and fresh. You will work closely with our reception, as treatment bookings are made there. You also have the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that this part maintains the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. In your professional role as a SPA Manager, you will also be part of the company's management team and work closely with the owning family. The role also involves scheduling, responsibility, and task allocation to therapists. Budget planning, procurement, and inventory.

We see that your formal background is as a certified skin therapist and/or spa therapist with an approved education (SHR and CIDESCO). We prefer that you have experience in a leadership position in a similar field. You have experience in spa, wellness, or health, and it is important that you can take initiative and are willing to work weekends and holidays.
