Qualifications

Requirements - Mandatory to be considered an eligible candidate

• Swedish dental license.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a dentist.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Open to performing all types of treatments.
• Willing to work as the sole dentist at the clinic, alongside a dental assistant.

Merits - Desirable, but not mandatory

• More than 3 years' experience as a dentist.
• Residing near/in Valdemarsvik or in the surrounding area.

We are looking for a humble dentist, or possibly two, interested in sharing a full-time position. You are independent and self-reliant, with a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with your dental assistant. You are attentive to the needs of the patient and have a humble attitude that creates trust and security for both patients and colleagues. We value your flexibility, problem-solving skills, as well as your thoroughness and responsibility in your work. You also have the opportunity to influence purchases and material choices. Courses for competence development are offered, tailored to the treatment needs at the clinic.

Responsibilities: Patient care, communication with patients, and handling payments are included in the responsibilities. Since you are the sole dentist at the clinic, some administrative tasks will also be part of your duties, as well as complete patient care as the first point of contact for any complaints or revisions, with support from the clinic manager if needed. Contact with the clinic manager/clinic responsible and regular follow-ups occur via phone or Zoom as needed. There is also the possibility to schedule meetings.

• Location: Valdemarsvik.
• Employment type: Permanent employment with a trial period.
• Extent: 75% or 100% (for one dentist), alternatively 50% for two dentists sharing the full-time position.
• Salary model: Fixed or commission-based salary. Alternatively, the possibility to work as a consultant.

Tor Dental was founded in early 2023 with a clinic in Uppsala and now also operates in Märsta, Sundbyberg, and Valdemarsvik. We are three classmates from the dentistry program at KI who run the clinics with great dedication and heart. Our values - Quality, Security, and Care - permeate everything we do, and we strive for a familial atmosphere with both patients and colleagues. We have our own intranet to stay in touch and collaborate easily across our clinics, despite geographical distances.

Tor Dental Valdemarsvik is a small, familial clinic with 2 treatment rooms and has an older patient base that has visited the clinic for many years with varying treatment needs, but we also welcome new patients. The treatment needs within the patient group are primarily preservative and rehabilitative, and all treatments are performed, including implants. The team in Valdesmarsvik will consist of you and a dental assistant. At the clinic, we have OPG, surgical machine, mechanical cleaning, digital scanner, and more. The journal system we use is Muntra.

Clinic's in-house expertise: General dentistry, surgical treatments, implant surgery/prosthetics.
