At the Emergency Department in Sundsvall, we are about 100 employees, and together we receive and care for approximately 47,000 patients/year. We handle all types of acute patients. We have a strong focus on a good work environment and quality education. As a resident physician (ST-läkare) with us, you will early on attend courses in acute care such as ATLS, MedicALS (or equivalent), and A-HLR, and during your residency, you will continuously undergo further training such as ultrasound education, PHTLS, APLS, Prehospital Care Leadership, and more. We also have a well-developed internal training program with daily short training sessions and recurring training days every month. Every week, we have simulation exercises together with other professional categories at the emergency department.

We are now looking for two resident physicians (ST-läkare) for the Emergency Department in Sundsvall. The position is a full-time permanent position with entry according to agreement.

Job Duties

The work involves, in a team with other staff, taking care of patients of all categories at the emergency department. You will be offered a good introduction, and an individual service plan will be designed according to the Swedish Society for Emergency Medicine (SWESEMs) description of goals for emergency care. We have flexible scheduling and a work model for physicians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician eligible to practice in Swedish healthcare.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience in emergency care.
