Senior IT Administrator at Sofidel

About the position
This recruitment is done in collaboration between Montico and Sofidel, where Montico manages the recruitment process and the employment takes place directly at Sofidel. The position is a permanent employment where a 6-month probationary period may be applied. Location: Kisa. Entry: as soon as possible by agreement, taking into account any notice period.
As an IT administrator at Sofidel, you will have a central role where you not only work with technical administration but also have some leadership responsibilities. You will be a key person in IT procurement and collaborate with colleagues internationally. The role requires both technical expertise and strategic understanding of IT development in a global context.
Job description
As an IT administrator at Sofidel, you will have a broad and varied area of responsibility where you will be responsible for the function and further development of the IT infrastructure by leading and participating in IT projects and ensuring that the team's goals are achieved. You will be involved in IT equipment and service procurement and provide technical support to users.
- Administer networks, servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Monitor and ensure that their systems and IT services function optimally.
- Manage software installations, configure and update client computers and servers according to specifications.
- Train users in the effective use of IT equipment and software.
- Plan and implement system updates and maintenance in consultation with users.
- Create and maintain updated documentation and IT registers.
- Follow and implement data protection regulations and contribute to a secure and sustainable corporate culture.
- Possibility to participate in international projects with Sofidel's offices globally.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced and independent leader with a strong drive and a natural ability to take responsibility in their role. You have a strategic and analytical approach to problem-solving and feel comfortable handling complex IT challenges of both operational and strategic nature.
We also see that you have:
- Several years of experience in a similar role.
- Education in IT at university level.
- Good knowledge of network architectures, routing, and switching.
- Experience in managing virtualized server environments, especially based on VMware.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems, as well as Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience in sustainable IT development or work in a global organization is considered a plus.
