We are now looking for a cleaner with some coordination responsibility for the cleaning unit.

Description

The cleaning unit is part of the Community Development Sector, which also includes the planning & construction unit, the meal unit, the technical unit, the labor market unit, and the business community.

The cleaning unit is an important part of property maintenance and is responsible for the daily cleaning in the municipality's own premises such as schools, preschools, nursing homes, offices, and staff areas. It also includes periodic tasks such as floor care. The unit currently has thirteen permanent cleaners and intermittent employees who work as needed during the summer and in case of other absences.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be an important part of how the unit can deliver good quality and service in our assignments. The position mainly consists of covering the practical execution in the operations, in the absence of regular staff, extra ordered services, and periodic tasks such as floor care. You will also assist the head of the cleaning unit with substitute procurement. You may also support in other administrative tasks when regular staff are absent, such as invoicing but also placing orders for consumables from our suppliers. The working hours are during daytime on weekdays.

Qualifications

For the position, it is required that you master Swedish in speech and writing in order to maintain good communication with colleagues and customers. You also need a driver's license B as many of the operations are spread out in the municipality.

For the position, it is also required to present an extract from the criminal record as you will be present in premises with children and young people.

We consider it highly advantageous if you have education in cleaning such as SRY or PRYL. We prefer that you have previous practical experience in the cleaning profession and it is advantageous if you also have experience in floor care, window cleaning, high-level cleaning, or other periodic tasks.

As a person, you need to be flexible and have good communication skills. You need to be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You can also work both independently and in a team.

Conditions
