At Omexom, we are passionate about energy transition and are now looking to strengthen our team in Nässjö with a senior distribution electrician/installer. Omexom builds, operates, and maintains critical infrastructure in electricity distribution, energy storage, e-mobility, railway systems, and lighting.

Located in our newly built office in Nässjö, you will find our Omexom Energy Solutions team. Your colleagues include distribution electricians, construction workers, machine operators, preparers, project managers, project support, and managers working with service and project agreements with our customers in electricity distribution.

There is a lot of knowledge in the group, and we help each other. In addition to meeting at the office, the team gathers several times a year to discuss strategies, values, safety culture, and have fun together.

About the roleAs a distribution electrician, you are one of the company's most important resources out in the field. Your main tasks will include performing electrical work on cable and overhead lines, as well as carrying out cabinet replacements. The work may also involve working on the assembly of switchgear and transformer stations.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Installation and maintenance of power lines, cabinets, transformers, and other equipment
• Based on electrical diagrams, plan, manage, and ensure the quality of work in power grids, transformer stations, junction boxes/cabinets, and switchgear.
• Identify the need for protective equipment, conduct risk assessments, and propose measures to prevent work-related injuries and accidents.
• Analyze the results of conducted inspections and troubleshooting, as well as carry out and suggest measures to prevent faults in the cable network.
• Perform measurements, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of underground cables, overhead lines, and suspension cables.
• Document the work and report any deviations, issues, or improvement suggestions to the nearest manager.

The position is located in Nässjö, but you will work in the field, and the position may involve working away with overnight stays four days a week in periods around Götaland.

About you

To be successful in the role of senior distribution electrician/installer, you need to have at least 5 years of experience in the construction of power lines and maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of power grids, cabinets, and network stations, as well as replacing older lines or similar within the energy industry.

You have a high school education in electricity, ESA, and fluent Swedish in both speech and writing. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and a BE driver's license. It is a merit if you also have training as a distribution electrician.

In the field, you carry out your work with your own drive, good structure, and planning ability. You are responsible, safety-conscious, and can collaborate with your colleagues and our customers. It is important that you enjoy independent work as the majority of the work takes place in the field.
