About Us:

Segeltorps Vårdcentral is a region-driven health center located in an older villa area in Huddinge municipality, about 5 minutes by bus from Fruängen. We have approximately 7300 registered patients, many of whom are elderly. We run a large and well-functioning home care service and offer a good working environment in a safe and well-knit group of about 25 employees, including doctors, geriatricians, nurses, district nurses, social workers, psychologists, medical foot care specialists, nursing assistants, REKO, and medical secretaries. We have our own lab and a well-functioning insurance medicine team.

To meet the increased healthcare needs and the transition to good and close care, we now need to expand our medical staffing with an additional specialist in general medicine.

About the Position:

We are looking for a specialist in general medicine who wants to be part of our ambitious and fine operation. We offer a varied job with both acute and chronic diseases, preventive measures regarding lifestyle habits, and contact with patients of all ages. Supervision of AT, BT, and ST doctors is included. You will be part of a medical team with solid commitment and competence in several areas. We work according to the close care principle, and our specialists have a listing in line with the recommendations of the National Board of Health and Welfare. We value ongoing education and high medical quality, and SLSO offers solid training and networks for new employees.

Qualifications:

• Specialist doctor in general medicine with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
• Experience from working in primary care is an advantage.
• New specialists are warmly welcome to apply as we provide excellent supervision.
• Experience with the medical record system - TakeCare is an advantage.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment, full-time (100%). A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine and have good collaboration skills and flexibility.

The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:

• background checks will be applied before a hiring decision according to current guidelines.
• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
