Our job offer

At highly specialized pain rehabilitation, we offer an interprofessional approach based on the biopsychosocial model, which is the core of our operations. We work in teams with patients suffering from complex chronic pain conditions. You will share your position with a well-established team and a team that is starting up; both teams are located in the same premises in the Huddinge hospital area.

Our operations

Patients are offered rehabilitation after assessment, both in a digital rehabilitation program and in group rehabilitation on-site in our facilities. The goal of rehabilitation is to create conditions for lasting change that enables increased function, activity, and participation in society, as well as improved quality of life, together with patients suffering from chronic pain.

We operate during daytime hours from Monday to Friday and are also closed for three weeks in the summer.

You are employed by Danderyds Hospital, but your workplace is located in the Huddinge hospital area, where we already have a team. Meetings and other tasks also occur at the unit at Danderyds Hospital.

Job description

As a nurse in our multimodal rehabilitation team, you will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries.

You will work with your patients on both an individual and group level in a creative organization with competent colleagues. Your responsibilities include an initial nursing assessment of our patients, counseling, medical follow-ups, and motivational conversations. The nurse in the team often has primary responsibility for health-promoting interventions.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a few years of professional experience.

Experience in pain rehabilitation and working in teams with other professions, preferably within the field of rehabilitation medicine, is an advantage. We also appreciate an interest in evaluation work and research.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is proactive and structured, with good collaboration skills and a strong interest in working with patients suffering from chronic pain.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and recruitment may close before the application deadline.

The Rehabilitation Medicine University Clinic Stockholm at Danderyds Hospital has a regional mission. We conduct highly specialized rehabilitation of patients in the areas of brain injury, chronic pain, post-polio, neuromuscular diseases, adult habilitation, and insurance medicine. The Rehabilitation Medicine University Clinic Stockholm is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
