Kulturskolan Garnalia runs a wide range of activities and collaborates with the municipality's primary and secondary schools to provide a rich cultural offering for the children and youth of the community. The school offers programs in dance, theater, visual arts, and music, and conducts all music education in the municipal primary schools of Lindesberg.

Kulturskolan is now seeking a music teacher for Storåskolan to teach grades 4-9 in combination with teaching in the voluntary activities of the cultural school. Storåskolan is a multicultural school for grades 4-9 with 220 students and about 30 staff members. The school is beautifully located by the northern shore of Råsvalen. You can easily reach Storåskolan as there are good commuting options by train and bus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Kulturskolan Garnalia is looking for a music teacher for Storåskolan in Lindesberg municipality, in combination with teaching in the voluntary activities of the cultural school. The position consists of 60% classroom teaching and 20% in the voluntary activities of the cultural school. If you are willing to serve as a resource at Storåskolan, the position can be 100%. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in an individualized, stimulating, and structured manner.

You will be part of a team together with the other teachers at the cultural school.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching certification in music. You are a good leader in the classroom, clear and responsible, and put the student at the center. You have a positive view of students and a good ability to develop and plan teaching in collaboration with your colleagues. Personal suitability is highly valued.
