Description

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable teacher in craft (70%) and home economics (30%) for one of our schools, starting in August 2025. The position is a parental leave substitute for one school year, with the possibility of extension.

Job responsibilities

As a craft teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in grades 3–9. The teaching in home economics primarily covers grades 6–9.

You have the ability to create a safe and positive classroom climate and to build trusting relationships with your students. You believe in every child's potential to develop and adapt your teaching based on the students' needs and conditions.

You are structured, have good subject knowledge, and use varied pedagogical methods that encourage student influence and participation. Through reflection and feedback from colleagues, students, and guardians, you continuously develop your leadership.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in craft. It is advantageous if you also have qualifications in home economics.

You are confident in your professional role, have good collaboration skills, and a positive attitude that resonates in the classroom and among colleagues. You have a clear pedagogical leadership and work to create a joyful and meaningful learning environment for all students.

Conditions

To be employed, you must present a valid extract from the Police's criminal record register.
