Evia Open Care is an organization dedicated to creating positive and long-term changes for children and young people with mental and/or psychosocial difficulties. Our operations consist of treatment schools and an external outpatient care section where we offer, among other things, family therapy, individual treatment, and assessments. We work with a holistic view of each individual and strive to create safe, supportive, and developing environments for our children and young people.
Eviaskolan is currently located in Västerhaninge, and in August 2025, we will open new schools in central Stockholm and Gothenburg for grades 4-9. We are now looking for someone who wants to help start, run, and develop the current and upcoming operations in Gothenburg together with us!
About the position
We are looking for an engaged and experienced clinical psychologist. In addition to your own treatment work, the position also includes a managerial role that involves leading and developing our new outpatient care operations. You play a central role in ensuring that our support for children, young people, and their families is of high quality and complies with current laws and guidelines.
As a manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the daily work within the outpatient care sections, as well as developing treatment methods and quality assurance. You will lead the treatment for the school's operations together with the principal, who is responsible for the school's operations. You have personnel responsibility for the treatment staff and budget responsibility for your part of the operations.
You will be part of the management team and will work closely with the principal and development manager to create a cohesive and efficient operation. You will participate in treatment work, supervise, and ensure quality in treatment on-site.
Main responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for outpatient care operations
- Work based on the guidelines of the Social Services Act
- Close collaboration with the principal, development manager/school manager, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Your own treatment work, as well as leading and developing the treatment staff through support, supervision, and management
- Budget planning and financial follow-up
About you
Qualifications
- Licensed psychologist, competence in CBT, TBA, PBS
- Experience working in school operations
- Experience working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric disorders, mental and/or psychosocial difficulties
- Good knowledge and experience of working according to the Social Services Act
- Documented leadership experience, preferably in similar operations
You have an interest in and a good ability to create a safe and developing work environment for the staff. You work in a structured manner with good planning and follow-up skills.
