About the Job

Your main tasks will consist of assessing and treating mental and behavioral health issues based on the primary care mission. The focus is on preventive and early interventions based on common reasons for seeking care at a health center. You will work based on the needs of the registered population with digital healthcare meetings, internet and group therapy, as well as physical individual visits.

We work according to Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), where the work includes high accessibility, stepwise care, and collaboration with other professionals and care partners. It is important that you have an interest in working based on the principles of IBH. This means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues. It also means working with stepwise care, where interventions range from psychoeducation and self-care advice to guided treatment with literature or internet therapy, group therapy, or individual treatment interventions. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, the ability to vary methods and the scope of treatment interventions is required.

You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the health center manager for the development of the clinic in an ongoing improvement process. Supervision of psychology candidates or PTP psychologists may be relevant.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with CBT level 1 competence; other specializations may also be relevant. Experience in the following areas is an advantage:

  • Work as a psychologist at the primary care level
  • Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH)
  • Stepwise care
  • Internet-based psychological treatment
  • Group therapy

We are looking for someone who takes initiative and actively wants to participate in the development of the organization. We hope you will engage in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health center and contribute as a consultative resource to other professionals. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a good approach. Other Information

Travel in the job may occur; a B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection is done in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who will call candidates for a phone interview. Then the hiring manager will make a second selection from the applicants and invite them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
