About the job

The work will take place at both Tidan and Södra Ryd Health Centers. As a psychiatric nurse, you will work comprehensively with patients of all ages, both through your own clinic work and in close collaboration with doctors, where the range of tasks is varied. The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients.

A close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team together with a social worker, psychologist, and rehabilitation coordinator, as well as with other actors such as specialist care. Together with the health center management, you will be responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also included in your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatric care and have training in CBT equivalent to step 1. Experience as a psychiatric nurse and/or in primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are approachable, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and in-person visits at the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and operational development. We expect you to embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Travel in the job may occur, a B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
