Team Leader in MiV Operations in Skaraborg
The Supply Management Administration is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region. The operations are conducted throughout Västra Götaland with a focus on supply and logistics to the region's various activities. We develop and deliver services in meals, laundry, pharmaceutical-related products, and aids, as well as stock and distribute products.
Material in Care, MiV, is a regional concept aimed at supporting the care process within the Västra Götaland Region with efficient and reliable material supply where the right competencies are used in the right way.
We are now looking for a Team Leader for our MiV operations in Skaraborg. Welcome with your application by April 27.
About the Position
As a Team Leader, you will lead the operational work for approximately 17 employees within MiV in Skövde and Lidköping. You will work towards our set goals and prioritize and plan daily operations in close collaboration with the unit manager. As a Team Leader, you are responsible for ensuring and maintaining good quality and delivery towards the Västra Götaland Region's various activities. Continuous improvement work and deviation management are part of everyday life as we constantly strive to develop our processes and routines.
As a Team Leader, you will also participate in projects, work to ensure quality and efficiency, and promote participation and a good working environment in the units. The tasks will be highly varied and include both administrative and operational tasks within the operations. Examples of tasks include:
- Ensuring optimal staffing in the unit
- Maintaining high quality and efficiency
- Being responsible for self-checks, delivery checks, and deviations
- Guiding employees in the units regarding tasks, priorities, working methods, and routines.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education or other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have a couple of years of experience working in warehousing and logistics. As a person, you are responsible, communicative, and cooperative. We would like you to have experience leading others, even if it has not necessarily been in a formal leadership role.
Furthermore, you have good knowledge of digital systems and computer skills. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have the ability to convey information and instructions in a pedagogical manner. Since a large part of your working hours will be spent in the operations, it is important that you have the physical ability to be active throughout the workday, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. A driving license for manual transmission and good driving experience are required for the position. Forklift licenses A, B, and D1 are advantageous.

Our Mission
Material in Care is part of the Interlogistics area, which is responsible for the internal distribution of textiles, mail, goods, pharmaceuticals, and consumables within hospitals. We are located at the region's largest hospitals and have approximately 230 employees. Our employees within MiV order and unpack materials and restock and organize various storerooms using digital systems. We also manage patient textiles and ensure that they are restocked and available in storerooms at the hospitals. As a Team Leader with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a well-functioning healthcare system within the Västra Götaland Region.
Other Information
The position is a parental leave replacement until February 28, 2026. Selection and initial digital assessments will be ongoing. Interviews on-site are planned for Wednesday, May 7. Questions about the position are handled by Leo Janosz, department manager.
