We are now looking for a night receptionist for the summer at Scandic No. 53.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details, ensuring that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security tasks, and sales work.

The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (nights and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in using a computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a summer temporary job, part-time night work, which means you work nights seven days a week every other week. Working hours are scheduled from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM.
