HR Department, Government Offices of Sweden

Are you looking for an opportunity to build on your recruitment skills while contributing to an organization that makes a difference in society? We are seeking two recruiters with an interest in workforce supply and HR, who want to develop within the public recruitment process in a supportive and operational role.

You will work according to a competency-based methodology and manage several recruitment processes simultaneously. The pace can vary and conditions can change quickly – therefore, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where collaboration, flexibility, and structure are key to success. With us, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and grow in your role in a meaningful and dynamic context.

Your workday. Sweden's tomorrow.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop throughout the entire recruitment process with support from experienced colleagues. You will gain insight into how public recruitment works in practice and work operationally with several processes at the same time.

This means, for example, that you will:

  • support managers in initiating recruitments, including needs analysis and developing job specifications
  • design and publish advertisements in our recruitment system ReachMee
  • assess and select applications
  • schedule and participate in interviews alongside managers
  • communicate with candidates throughout the process
  • handle reference checks, documentation, and decision-making materials
  • participate in security assessments
  • assist with work samples or tests when applicable

You will work in a recruitment team where knowledge sharing, learning, and collaboration are the focus. The role is operational and designed to give you the opportunity to gradually grow into more complex tasks, depending on needs and experience. The work takes place in a public context and may include elements related to security-classified positions.

  • has experience recruiting qualified professionals, preferably in roles requiring higher education or specialized skills, such as lawyers, economists, or administrators
  • has an interest in competency-based recruitment and a desire to develop in the field
  • has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • has good administrative skills and is accustomed to working with the Office suite

It is an advantage if you have:

  • worked in a larger or more complex organization
  • experience in public service or public recruitment
  • used recruitment systems or other digital HR tools, preferably with AI features

Your qualities

The criteria for employees at the Government Offices of Sweden are wholeness, development, and results. Everyone working at the Government Offices needs to have a holistic view and collaborate for the best of the organization. You are expected to contribute your perspective and expertise while being open to others. You bring ideas and new approaches to improve and develop the organization and your own skills. You are results-oriented in your actions and adapt when needs and directions change.

To succeed in the role of recruiter, you need to have good collaboration skills and be able to relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You are structured, plan and prioritize your work effectively, and adhere to given timelines. You have a service-oriented approach, are accommodating, and solution-oriented in dialogue with others. You also have good judgment and make correct assessments when it comes to decisions and priorities.
