We are now looking for a Quality Manager who wants to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

Thai Fong is a leading player in Asian food in Sweden. We import and distribute high-quality products from Southeast Asia and East Asia. As a Quality Manager with us, you will play a key role. You will ensure that our products and processes comply with applicable legislation and quality requirements. You will be one of two in our quality team, giving you a central position in developing and driving quality work forward.

This is a role for you who want to combine strategic and operational work. You will work independently but also closely with buyers, suppliers, and other departments. We are looking for someone who is driven to develop quality processes and has a passion for food and food safety.

• Manage and develop our HACCP system and other quality processes.
• Document and update process descriptions and certification materials.
• Maintain and update product and item data in business systems or similar systems.
• Be responsible for labeling and product information, including translations and labels.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.

We are looking for a structured, meticulous, and analytical person. You have the ability to see the big picture combined with an eye for detail. You thrive on collaborating across departmental boundaries to ensure that quality work permeates the entire organization. Working on improvements and efficiencies comes naturally to you, which is part of taking responsibility. We would like you to have a strong interest in food, especially Asian cuisine.

• Have experience in quality work within the food industry or another sector.
• Have knowledge of certifications and quality audits.
• Are used to working with process descriptions and documentation.
• Have good IT skills and are quick to learn.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience and knowledge of HACCP.
• Experience with business systems relevant to the role.
• Insight into food legislation.
• Certification in food safety.
• Experience working with item data and product information management.
• Basic knowledge of ensuring products according to industry regulations and laws.
• Knowledge of Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, or another Asian language.
