About the position

In the neurosurgery ward, we work in teams with nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, and health professionals. Both acute and elective neurosurgical patients who are to be or have been operated on for various brain tumors, vascular diseases, traumatic or spontaneous brain hemorrhages, and spinal conditions are cared for by us. The care levels include ward care, preoperative and postoperative care, as well as intermediate care with continuous monitoring of patients.

In our highly specialized round-the-clock operations, you will always have support from experienced colleagues. Our ambition is to be responsive to your needs in scheduling and to find solutions that suit both you and the organization.

The positions are permanent employment with day/evening and night shifts, as well as a six-month temporary position. We operate according to Region Stockholm's agreement for nurses within 24/7 operations.

We are looking for someone who

• has a genuine interest in neurosurgery and wants to actively contribute to the continued development of our operations
• takes responsibility in your professional role and has good collaboration skills
• is flexible and handles unforeseen situations with calmness
• is comfortable working both independently and in a team
• has the ability to prioritize.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare

Meritorious:

Experience in acute care/inpatient care and/or neurosurgery/neurology
