AML Advisor for the Onboarding Team
Our client is expanding their Onboarding team that works with anti-money laundering, combating financial terrorism, and fraud. We are looking for someone who wants to work in the banking sector and enjoys a role with daily customer contact. Welcome with your application!
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an AML Advisor, you will belong to the bank's Welcoming & Orchestration area, where all back-office functions are centralized. You will work operationally to manage and create the best possible customer experience. Together with your team, your tasks will be to ensure that the bank's customers experience a smooth and timely process when they join the bank. At the same time, you will be responsible for ensuring that new customers meet all regulatory requirements and for minimizing risks as they arise.
The team consists of many friendly and knowledgeable employees, and together you form an important link in the work to ensure that the bank does not participate in money laundering or other forms of financial crime. The team has a can-do spirit and values collaboration, goal-setting, and structure in the work.
For this position, you are required to provide and have an approved criminal record and UC check. You will be informed more about this during the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an AML Advisor, you will onboard new private and corporate customers while following KYC, AML, and compliance requirements. You will have customer contact, interview customers, and provide them with a valuable and positive first impression.
- Ensure that assigned tasks are performed in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure the best quality (First Time Right) of processes by following SOP and constantly looking for improvement solutions
- Collaborate with other teams by sharing best practices and assisting during peak seasons
- Participate in joint initiatives that contribute to the team's well-being
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a completed university degree in economics, law, or in a subject deemed relevant
- Has previous relevant work experience in customer contact/service/administration deemed relevant
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is a merit if you have:
- Knowledge of Finnish
- Previous relevant work experience in AML/KYC
- Work experience in banking and knowledge of the financial sector
