Our Tech Specialist unit at Nexer is growing and we want to expand our team!

We are now looking for a Platform Engineer/DevSecOps Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in Linux/Windows, infrastructure, automation, and coding. We are looking for someone who has worked with development in Linux/Windows with a focus on DevOps and is interested in taking on new challenges as a consultant. Your profile

We are looking for someone who has

• Work experience in DevSecOps/agile teams
• Practical experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Good understanding of network components such as DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and certificate management
• Knowledge in security management and monitoring of applications with service-based architecture
• Practical experience in database management (relational and document databases).

Technical skills

We would like you to have a good understanding in the following areas

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Ansible, Terraform
• Knowledge of public clouds – AWS, Azure, Google (ideally having knowledge in at least one of them).
• Operating systems – Linux or Windows.
• Microservices – Kubernetes and Docker.
• CI/CD tools – Examples: Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitLab, MS DevOps (TFS, VSTS).
• Artifact management tools – Artifactory, Nexus, SVN, MS DevOps (TFS, VSTS).
• Centralized logging tools – For example, Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Databases – Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB.
• Process tools – JIRA, Confluence, MS DevOps (TFS, VSTS), GitLab.
• Development methods – SAFe, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps.
• Scripting and programming languages – Python, Bash, PowerShell, C++, C# or Java.

Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is a requirement.

The assignments are with our clients operating in both the public and private sectors. Our clients in the private sector include defense, medtech, and automotive industries. As a consultant, you will work either on-site with clients, in our own offices, or from home, often in a hybrid combination.
