Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Textile Engineer – Interior Materials Development to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Lead the development of textile materials used in areas such as wall trims, headliners, bunks, and curtains
• Drive innovation and application of new material technologies from early research phases to product implementation and maintenance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure textile solutions meet performance, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements
• Contribute to product and system roadmaps by providing expert input on textile materials
• Develop and deliver training to internal teams on textile materials and their applications
• Define and document material data and manufacturing specifications to support business and product objectives
• Act as the subject matter expert for high-complexity areas within materials engineering

What you bring:

• A degree in textile engineering or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in textile development or materials engineering
• Proven ability to lead materials development projects and drive them from concept to implementation
• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and material performance characteristics
• Experience working with interior components such as trims, headliners, and soft furnishings is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and disciplines
