About the job as Purchasing Analyst

As a Purchasing Analyst with our client in Stockholm, you will play a key role in analyzing and developing purchasing operations. You will work data-driven to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the purchasing chain. Your role includes creating insightful reports and dashboards, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and supporting the daily operational purchasing work.

Your main responsibilities include:

Analyzing purchasing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Conducting cost analyses and driving data-driven decisions
Creating reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI
Collaborating with suppliers and internal departments
Ensuring data quality and updating purchasing systems, including SAP
Supporting the purchasing team with ongoing operational tasks

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone with documented experience working as a Purchasing Analyst or in similar analytical roles within purchasing or supply chain. You are used to handling large data sets, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a structured manner. You find it easy to collaborate with others but can also work independently and drive your work forward.

We would like you to meet the following:

Experience as a Purchasing Analyst or similar role
Very good knowledge of Excel and Power BI
Experience with SAP or similar business systems
Good understanding of purchasing processes and best practices
Strong analytical skills and high accuracy
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
Relevant university degree, e.g., in business administration, logistics, industrial engineering, or similar
