About the position

We are seeking a qualified German teacher for a permanent part-time position at 50%.

Teaching is scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Wednesday afternoons.

You will teach students in grades 6–9 as part of the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) – an internationally developed program that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and global understanding.

Who are you?

• Has a teaching certification in German.
• Has experience teaching at the middle school level.
• Has a clear leadership in the classroom and meets students with warmth and respect.
• Is passionate about your subjects and has the ability to spark engagement and curiosity.
• Plans and conducts creative and stimulating teaching of high quality.
• Is independent, structured, and takes initiative in pedagogical work.
• Thrives in a collegial environment, where we share knowledge and develop together.

About us

Futuraskolan International Bergtorp is located in Viggbyholm, Täby, and has approximately 650 students in grades 6–9. The school has several profiles, including sports, music, music/drama, and international communication.

Our teaching is based on the values of Progressiveness, Energy, and Respect (PER). We aim to provide our students with the best possible springboard for the future – both academically and as global citizens.

We focus on collegial learning, pedagogical development, and actively work with ICT as a natural part of teaching (G-Suite).
