About the unit:

The Logistics Unit Stockholm is a unit at the Life Guards that supports military units from the operational locations of Stockholm, Solna, and Kungsängen.

The unit currently consists of a Staff, a Technical Department, a Mobilization Department, a Supply Department in Stockholm, and a Supply Department in Kungsängen. The Logistics Unit contributes to a stronger defense force through well-functioning logistics, unit-near storage management, supply provision, and ordering of material maintenance in peace, during readiness increases, and in war. The Armed Forces, and in particular the Logistics Unit Stockholm, are growing in several different areas.

The Technical Department, Technical System Support Section, is responsible for logistics and technical services at the garrison. This includes, for example, storage management of supplies and planning of maintenance and repairs of military equipment and vehicles.

As an employee within the Armed Forces, we offer:

Main tasks

Your main tasks will consist of handling technical matters in the command support systems PRIO and LIFT. You will also assist the department, the unit, and the regiment with your deep knowledge of accounting for technical services. Supporting and training colleagues in technical services will also be part of your daily routine.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• At least a completed three-year upper secondary education
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Driver's license at least class B
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone with high analytical ability and great drive; you will need to seek your tasks independently and understand and take the right actions on your own. You are responsible and proactive, with a good ability to take initiative and complete tasks with high precision. We will place great emphasis on your personality.

Desirable

• Previous experience as a technical services administrator
• Good knowledge of the PRIO system technology and logistics module (SAP S4/HANA)
• Previous experience as a trainer
• System knowledge and relevant and current experience of the LIFT system
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
• Driver's license at least class C
• Driving license for military vehicles
• Previous employment in the Armed Forces

Other

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed within the Armed Forces.
