Analysis, Management Support, and Development Work

As a business architect in the department for common insurance issues, you will be responsible for developing and managing the department's information architecture. You will collaborate with our various operations within the department and will be an important resource to support the operational needs for information structure in the planning and execution of various projects and initiatives. You will have a key role in enabling change towards future states together with the department's development managers and business developers, thus improving decision-making. You will also work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure that our digital transformation is aligned with the department's and the agency's long-term goals.

The department for common insurance issues has a wide range of activities. Within the department, we handle case types and develop functions and services that are common and fundamental to all insurance benefits. We have a collective competence within the specific case types and drive the development of services. The position is located in the department's staff.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and management of the department's information and business models by analyzing, describing, and visualizing solutions, structures, processes, and relationships
  • Ensure that the department's business development is based on the various components and principles of architecture at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure consensus and progress in the governance of development
  • Be responsible for evaluating that the business architecture is adapted to both current and future needs of the department.

We are looking for someone who has

  • a university degree with a focus on system science or equivalent experiences and qualifications
  • several years of experience in strategic business development, business architecture, or similar roles, preferably in the public sector
  • experience in providing architectural support to managers and management teams in decision-making
  • a deep understanding of processes and IT structure as well as experience working with long-term development issues
  • the ability to think strategically, tactically, and simultaneously maintain an operational focus
  • experience working in complex organizations and the ability to manage the needs and demands of various stakeholders
  • fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you

  • Have extensive experience working with long-term strategic development
  • Have good experience leading workshops for business modeling
  • Are a certified business architect
  • Have experience with the EA tool Aris
  • Have experience in rule modeling
  • Have experience working in a large public organization.

1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. A probationary period may be applicable.
