The work is varied and as an assistant, you will help the man in his daily life, such as personal care, transfers, hygiene routines, etc. The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the man are crucial for the quality and experience of the work. Working hours vary between day and evening. The workplace is located in the client's home or wherever the client is currently residing.

Who are you as an applicant? We are looking for someone who has personal suitability for the assignment. For us, this means that you are responsible, empathetic, and attentive. The man has a great interest in music, and we see it as a significant advantage if you as an applicant share this interest with him. There are two dogs in the home, so it is preferable if you as an assistant are not allergic. It is important that you are both punctual and can keep time but also flexible enough to occasionally step in to cover gaps in staffing. We see that you are a secure person and enjoy taking initiative. Important qualities in the assignment are respect, empathy, commitment, and that you as an assistant safeguard the man's personal integrity. 

If you also have previous experience in similar work or education in cognitive disabilities and dementia, this is highly meritorious. You will receive training and introduction to the medical tasks and ongoing competence development based on the needs of the assignment.

Requirements for this assignment are:

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

A driver's license for a passenger car (B) is a requirement.

In this assignment, it is also important that you as an assistant are non-smoking.

Experience working with dementia patients is preferred. 

About the employment

This employment starts immediately with a working degree of about 35%. Working hours are scheduled during the day and on weekends.
