We are looking for a project manager for technical premises for a government agency in Stockholm. 

This is a consulting assignment. 

The position is part-time, with a workload of approximately 60%.  Security clearance is required. 

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment and Work Area 

The agency is responsible for ensuring that the electricity transmission system is safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective - today and in the future. It operates as a state-owned enterprise and has over 1500 employees, the majority of whom work at the headquarters in Stockholm.  The agency is currently established in several locations across the country, with the headquarters located in Sundbyberg. The enterprise is growing, which creates a need for more and changed premises throughout the country. The projects for this assignment primarily concern premises that accommodate complex operations with high installation density and/or special requirements for cooling, power supply, and security that exceed normal office levels. It may eventually involve projects where the agency manages the property. The projects encompass the entire process from needs analysis to completed premises.

The project manager will be responsible for leading one or more local projects, sub-projects, or investigations with high installation density. The role should be able to lead and drive the work from needs analysis to completed premises and commissioning.

The role requires an interest in and ability to engage in dialogue with core operations, to conduct analyses and present recommendations for decisions in the management group, as well as to take an active role in discussions about technical choices for execution.

The tasks also include overall leadership, coordination, and administration of the project's implementation to ensure that the project's objectives and milestones are achieved according to the schedule and with good results.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Relevant academic degree for the assignment, minimum level of a bachelor's degree in engineering. At least completed basic course in project model PPS. At least ten (10) years of work experience in project management within the construction or real estate sector. At least five (5) years of work experience with premises/properties with more complex technical installations (data centers, backup power, control rooms, etc.). At least five (5) years of work experience with local projects of an administrative and technical nature. Local projects refer to the adaptation or relocation of existing premises as well as new, to or renovation of premises. Experience working on at least two (2) property projects with security-classified information. The projects must have been completed within the last ten (10) years. Experience working as a project manager within properties/premises for at least two (2) public actors. The assignment must have been completed within the last ten (10) years. At least five (5) years of work experience managing and following up budgets and timelines, being a presenter in steering groups or equivalent groups, and being able to articulate well in writing, for example, in decision-making documents.

Desirable 

Master's degree in civil engineering in civil engineering, road and water, land surveying, or equivalent  Experience in establishing/renovating at least one (1) control room  At least ten (10) years of work experience with premises/properties with more complex technical installations (data centers, backup power, control rooms, etc.)  At least ten (10) years of work experience managing and following up budgets and timelines, being a presenter in steering groups or equivalent groups, and being able to articulate well in writing, for example, in decision-making documents.  Responsible for conducting at least two (2) procurements according to LOU or LUF. As the responsible person, one should have participated and have a good understanding of the entire procurement process, including the development of FU, advertising, evaluation, and awarding, as well as administration. Have been a project manager in a local project where sustainability requirements were placed in the form of building certification, sustainable material choices during interior procurement, or in another relevant way.  Expert in fire safety Certified inspector
