Role Description: To carry out the assignment well, a good understanding of the client's working methods and the conditions for state local supply is required. The opportunity to get to know the business will be provided at the project start. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as state local supply is expected to be acquired by the consultant independently before the start of the assignment.

The project primarily concerns premises that house complex operations with high installation density and/or special requirements for cooling, power supply, and security that exceed normal office levels. It may eventually involve projects where the client manages the property. The project encompasses the entire process from needs analysis to completed premises.

Responsibilities

For the assignment, one (1) project manager is sought for our technical and administrative premises. 

The project manager will be responsible for leading one or more local projects, sub-projects, or investigations with high installation density. The role should be able to lead and drive the work from needs analysis to completed premises and commissioning.

The role requires an interest in and ability to engage in dialogue with the core business, to conduct analyses and present recommendations for decisions in the management group, as well as to take an active role in discussions about technical choices for execution.

The responsibilities also include overall leadership, coordination, and administration of the project's implementation so that the project's objectives and milestones are achieved according to the schedule and with good results.

Mandatory Requirements

Education:

• Relevant academic degree for the assignment, minimum level of a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least completed basic course in project model PPS

Competence and Experience:

• At least ten (10) years of professional experience in project management within the construction or real estate sector.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience with premises/properties with more complex technical installations (data centers, backup power, control rooms, etc.)
• At least five (5) years of professional experience with local projects of an administrative and technical nature. Local projects refer to adaptation or relocation of existing premises as well as new, to or renovation of premises.
• Experience working on at least two (2) property projects with security-protected classified information. The projects must have been carried out within the last ten (10) years.
• Experience working as a project manager within properties/premises for at least two (2) public actors. The assignment must have been completed within the last ten (10) years.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience managing and following up budgets and schedules, being a presenter in steering groups or equivalent groups, and being able to articulate well in writing in, for example, decision documents.

Value-Added Requirements

• Master's degree in civil engineering in construction, road and water, surveying, or equivalent.
• Experience in the establishment/renovation of at least one (1) control room 
• At least ten (10) years of professional experience with premises/properties with more complex technical installations (data centers, backup power, control rooms, etc.) 
• At least ten (10) years of professional experience managing and following up budgets and schedules, being a presenter in steering groups or equivalent groups, and being able to articulate well in writing in, for example, decision documents. 
• Responsible for conducting at least two (2) procurements according to LOU or LUF. As the responsible person, one must have participated and have a good understanding of the entire procurement process, including the preparation of the FU, advertising, evaluation, and awarding, as well as administration. The assignment must have been completed within the last five (5) years. 
• Have been a project manager in a local project where sustainability requirements were placed in the form of building certification, sustainable material choices during furnishing procurement, or in another relevant way. 
• Expert in fire safety 
• Certified inspector
