Breakfast on the way to work, an affordable and well-prepared lunch, a conference in a lovely environment with modern technology, catering for the company, or an after-work to celebrate the week's achievements.
A conference in the historic Lumafabriken, gather colleagues for a meeting and then enjoy a joint dinner at Gärdet or how about a birthday dinner in Sundbyberg or Kungsholmen?

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are now looking for a driven and creative head chef to lead the restaurant forward at Lumafabriken in Hammarby Sjöstad.
In the historic Lumafabriken, there are venues for conferences and celebrations for groups from 20 to 330 people. Among other things, there is the unique glass cube Volt, a venue on the 13th floor with floor-to-ceiling windows in all four directions and a spectacular view of large parts of Stockholm.
The building, which is listed as a cultural heritage site, is considered one of Sweden's foremost functionalist industrial buildings. In addition to fine venues for conferences and celebrations, a lovely environment for breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks is offered.
As the head chef for this unit, you will be responsible for the daily operations and development in the kitchen. You will handle purchasing and supplier contacts but will also be active in the operational, daily work. You will schedule and lead your team in the kitchen and ensure engagement and motivation within the team.
Within the group, a central menu has been developed, but as the head chef, you have the opportunity to put your own touch on what is served. Here, the work is based on trends, seasons, and guests' preferences, ranging from traditional dishes to influences from around the world.
ABOUT YOU AS A CANDIDATE:
You have several years of experience in similar roles and are a social and forward-thinking person who finds meeting your guests the most enjoyable part of the job. You have your own commercial drive and are inspired by trends in cooking.
We believe you possess these qualities and skills:
- You have experience with traditional home-cooked meals as well as high-quality cooking for conferences and banquet halls.
- You have a good knowledge of international cooking techniques and experience working with dishes from various parts of the world, providing a broad and creative culinary repertoire.
- You are social and enjoy meeting guests, with the ability to create a good atmosphere and customer experience.
- You are creative and solution-oriented in the kitchen, able to find innovative solutions under pressure.
- You have strong financial knowledge and are good at keeping track of food costs, portion sizes, and maximizing resources without compromising quality.
- You have strong leadership skills and can lead a team, creating a positive work environment and ensuring that work is carried out efficiently.
- You have a high level of knowledge in food safety and self-control, which is crucial to ensure that all food is handled correctly and that all regulations are followed.
- You have good knowledge of Swedish and English to easily communicate with both staff and guests.
Scope: The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probation period. Working hours are primarily daytime Monday to Friday, but evening and weekend work may occur for orders and events.
