Our client Our client, a global and world-leading player in its field, has a strong belief in the long-term sustainability of HVDC technology (High Voltage Direct Current). This technology enables energy transport with direct current at high voltages, making it suitable for transmitting energy over long distances and connecting power grids with minimal losses. For offshore wind power or long-distance underwater transmissions, direct current is the most realistic option for energy transmission.

About the role  You will belong to the company's quality department and work in a production-related role. Your main tasks will involve quality control of materials related to components for transformers. In your role, you will define and specify activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements for materials, components, or products. Your work includes building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems required, as well as reviewing, monitoring, and assessing the quality of manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will report and troubleshoot deviations in manufacturing processes and defects in finished products.

About you As a person, we see that you are curious and analytical. You will collaborate closely with colleagues while also working largely independently and taking responsibility. To succeed in the role, you should have a strong drive for problem-solving and thrive in a goal-oriented environment. Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering, such as production engineering, where you have taken courses in materials, measurement, and quality engineering
  • Very good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written

It is considered an advantage if you have experience in performing analytical reviews of polymer materials and/or composites and have knowledge of material properties.

  • Start: Immediately
  • Location: Ludvika, weekdays with daytime working hours
  • Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months, with the ambition to then be directly employed by the client
